Ron Wright, Pastor
Invitation Hill Seventh-day Adventist Church

Our usual Sabbath Services are held at the following times:

Sabbath School: 9:30 am and Worship Service: 10:40 am; a vegetarian fellowship dinner is provided each Sabbath following the worship service, and all guests are invited to stay for that.

Our worship service is available on livestream at 10:40 am on Sabbath mornings.  Also, you may visit our YouTube page to see previous services.

If you are visiting us for the first time, please take note that online maps will often take you to the wrong side of town.  If the app looks like it's taking you to the west side of town, change your destination to RoughRider RV, and it will take you next door to our church.  We apologize for the inconvenience.  We have made numerous attempts to fix the online map issue, but it is determined to keep our location at the wrong site.

DIRECTIONS: If you are approaching Dickinson from the east, take the first Dickinson exit (Exit 64) off of I-94.  Turn right off of the exit ramp and go one mile.  The church is at the top of the hill.

If you are approaching from the west, take the third Dickinson exit (Exit 64).  Turn left and go one mile to where the church is located at the top of the hill.

Our pastor, Ron Wright, has been a member and lay leader of the Invitation Hill SDA Church since 2016.  He was invited to step into the pastoral role as of September 2024.  Pastor Wright has spent 30+ years in the masonry trade, but throughout those years has held a passion for ministry and sharing the gospel.  In the last few years, the sense of the call to full-time ministry intensified, and when the Dakota Conference of Seventh-day Adventists invited him to join the team as a pastor in this community, it seemed to be a confirmation of that call.

Ron has lived most of his life in the Gillette, WY area. Ron and his wife, Janna, moved to Dickinson in 2016 in answer to a call for Janna to teach at the newly-opened Invitation Hill Adventist School.  The Wrights enjoy reading, walking, biking, gardening, traveling, and hiking together.  They also enjoy learning more about healthy lifestyle practices and sharing with others to help them on their journeys to better health.

Pastor Ron's favorite verse is Galatians 2:20 which says, "I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live, yet not I, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me.
